Visa Requirements

What is a visa?

A Visa is a silly little stamp in your passport that you sometimes need to pass the man in the uniform when you get to the place marked on the map with a red line that is called a border. :)

Do I need a visa for Serbia?

Citizens of some countries need a visa, others don't. It is not fair but unfortunately, we didn't make up the rules.

But for now it works like this:
Click to see if you are on the list of Countries whose nationals may enter Serbia without a visa: http://www.mfa.gov.rs/Visas/f_without_visa.htm

If you haven't had luck with this, you have to contact the nearest Diplomatic/Consular Mission of Serbia as listed on the website of Ministry of foreign affairs of Serbia (http://www.mfa.gov.rs/Worldframe.htm), and inquire about the procedure.

The documents needed to get a visa are:
  1. Valid Passport
  2. Official letter of invitation from organizers of ISWIB
  3. Return ticket
  4. Proof of sufficient funds in hard currency
  5. Certificate that a health fund shall cover the medical costs in Serbia and Montenegro

The Official Letter of Invitation

We will start start sending the invitation letters when the application deadline is over or when the number of participants is reached. So try to be fast and apply as soon as possible. We will mainly send them by regular mail. However, if you would like to receive a copy by e - mail (attached pdf or image document) or by fax, please let us know.
