Students Dormitory "Petar Drapšin" is located in Kralja Petra Street No. 83, in the very centre of the city, near well-known sights, such as: The Kalemegdan Fortress, Knez Mihailova Street (main pedestrian street), Sports centre "25. maj", The Ethnographic Museum, The Theatre Museum, Gallery of Frescoes...
The building has officially been declared a cultural monument because of its architectural and historical values. It was built in 1926 and has had various purposes throughout history. Since 1988, the Dormitory "Petar Drapšin" has been a part of a Secondary school dormitory complex, the same year when the building was reconstructed.
